As I, and I feel safe in saying here "WE", have all witnessed, experienced, and documented here over and over.... Snoopy is unable to moderate or administrate a forum fairly and is unsuited to do so, and is just an embarrassment to AT, if they would and could examine all honestly. She is, imo, apparently incapable of separating her own personal feelings or disagreements with members from her job as a global moderator. She is to all appearances incapable of deciding forum issues and applying the rules and enforcing them impartially and without bias. Why? Because she, according to what she has demonstrated for years now, is ruled by her opinions and bias and reacts emotionally and without thinking to what she doesn't like- from those she doesn't like- while allowing others to violate their stated AT rules repeatedly, and either appearing to not notice or worse... joining in with them and violating the same rules.... For example, is constantly referring to this forum as a "smut site" or "porn site" either honest, or in accord with their forum rules? NO.
That ban message is interesting.... Sounds like overzealous defensiveness, paranoia and censoring to me... I have been banned by Snoopy from adventtalk for over 6 mos now, and that's the same reason and message I get. Not only have I been banned, which of course prevents me from logging in or posting there, but even the server I used was banned...Which means if I use my browser and go to adventtalk, Snippy has in effect blocked and prevented me from even reading or viewing the forum menu, or any topics, or posts published there. All I see is a page with the same ban message:
"Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!Cindy insists on discussing false accusations against Snoopy." Isn't Snoopy special? She can not be discussed or accused, or found fault with, while obviously and hypocritically AT has no rules preventing members from discussing accusations against myself, or anyone else they wish to attack and accuse? Anyway, why she, or anyone else for that matter, feels that it's necessary to block someone to the point of even preventing them from reading there is beyond me....
Snoopy's paranoia even extended to blocking my Mom from logging in, posting, or even viewing their website and forum and being able to read anything there. She also just gets a page saying:
"Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!Cindy insists on discussing false accusations against Snoopy." although she didn't do so, and from day one, that forum and the acting administrator of it at the time, "Daryl Fawcett, knew we were in the same household and obviously on the same network and server and not the same member or poster. This before they updated their rules btw, which now say, as Snippy just posted in reply to 3D:

Just as a refresher, here is Forum Rule #11:
Members agree to have only one user ID on the forum, and not to use any other user’s account for any reason. Proxy IP addresses and multiple users from the same IP address will not be allowed except with special application to, and permission from, the administrative team.
Whine all you want at the smut site, but don't forget that the IP addresses you are using are visible to the admin team!!

AFAIC, and to the best of my knowledge, my mother was never disciplined by any AT admin, and never did anything wrong or said anything in a post that they claimed was in violation of any rule there, so AFAIC, she is banned from adventtalk for the same overzealous defensiveness, paranoia and censoring that caused the ban of Pat.
Honestly, can any of you see anything wrong, or in violation of any adventtalk rules within the quoted post attributed to Pat?
It seemed a generic post which applied to any and all to me... What is wrong with the people on Adventtalk who can't deal with that kind of thing? They are not normal or even rational people who can be reasoned with, imo, and apparently have a hard time disagreeing with one another, and can't even find fault with or point out an error of one of their own, NOT EVEN IN A CARING AND UNDERSTANDING MANNER. (while they consistently attack others unmercifully, most often without even addressing the actual issue or subject of a post... )How is that love?
This ban is also interesting as obviously Pat didn't login or post under a banned internet provider, (mine) as Snoopy has prevented that already, and think about it... WHY would Snoopy issue the same ban message "Cindy insists on discussing false accusations against Snoopy" to both my mother after that, and now belatedly to Pat? It's been over 6 mos now, nobody was talking about her, move on already! The only one that I can see who is obsessed with Lynette "Snoopy" Rhodes is Snoopy....
About their revised rule--- even if one has permission, they can revoke it, consider my mom's ban due to myself and not anything she did, except disagree with them. But one normally isn't aware of and doesn't know what IP or server etc, that others are using, to avoid using the same. And if you are, how is one with the same IP provider as another member to avoid using that anyway? ... A Proxy server? No, because they are now banned.
There are hundreds, maybe thousands or more proxies. I myself have to use one to read at AT, as mine is blocked, who knows how many others use one? Not me, but I suspect that many of the AT users do, I know that many of them who sign up here do. All along their modus operandi has been to shoot arrows and accusations anonymously from the shadows and the dark while in their protected status, avoiding ever answering questions about where the accusation originated from, and how they would know, and how it could be verified or rebutted and disproved. They have always maintained that they needed to be anonymous for their safety, while touting only their own testimony as proof of that, yet don't extend that same protection or right to others? They demand and they need to know where others are posting from, and who there IP and who their server is before they can post? They need to identify and give these people permission to post, or they are banned, or prevented from saying anything? Others who are posting documents and citing posts and publications as evidence rather than citing themselves or their own testimony or personal claims as evidence of anything??
It's Pathetic,and not logical, or even reasonable imo, but then much they do is like that imo... Then again, it's their forum I guess they can do as they like regardless of my opinion of them or it.
BUT, yes, Snoopy is correct, IP #s are visible to the ADMIN team, as are many other things, that's why we can be sure that she wasn't really so smart, and has registered admittedly as a family member of poster on AT to attack them there, has registered as a family member of the Admin team here so that she could attack that member here, and under a host of other names here, all obvious, and all to further her own paranoid and accusatory agenda... She wasn't banned for her login or IP # though,or for who she was, she was banned for violating the rules and standards of conduct in the content of her posts here and HOW she said what she said, not for what she said... Even Mundall, the registered owner and tech for Linda Shelton's website and another admin of AT has multiple registered ID's here ( as he has had from day one, everywhere... starting with Stan's forum and the discussions/accusations there...) but none are banned, unless and until he violates the forum rules "here" , and only after being warned of that violation and not heeding it.... But, that's us...
It would be a good thing, I think, if Snoopy could remember to examine herself first, before accusing or acting against another. Actually... that's true for us all... My 2 cents...
