They of course have the right to ask their members not to copy posts from the semi private forum to their Public area. Bob and samuelthomas have a habit of doing that and so far their posts have never been moved back, so I am thinking Mohawk was talking about our forum when he said "anywhere else" If so? He will just have to understand we have our own rules which do allow those posts to be copied and posted here if our members choose to do that. This reminds me of when Daryl Fawcett was the registered owner and made the rule that no member could talk about them negatively anywhere else or say anything critical of them anywhere as if he could control all. so silly...Mohawk

As a matter of warning...
Do not copy conversations or posts from a semi-private thread on AT and post them anywhere else. They are private for a reason.
Thank you.

A followup post in that semi private forum was made by Mohawk, another Administrator. (For those who don't know who that is. Darrell Mundall has changed his forum posting name quite a few times now, Beartrap, Habenero, then George, his latest change was a couple of days ago, and he is now known as "Mohawk")

I just had an interesting thing happen. I am not quite sure what though. It appears an entire thread in the semi private forum "forum concerns" on Adventtalk may have been deleted.

Readers digest version:
Snoopy and Cindy were posting here in the semi private forums and Snoopy posted the following:
"You keep saying you want to move on, yet you leave unfounded, unsubstantiated, public accusations hanging. So, here’s the deal. You can take your smut over to your smut site and do what you want there. Here, I have a little say, and I am tired of being at the receiving end of your whining and public accusations. I know you have my email address if you want to contact me privately, but there will be no further discussion of your unfounded allegations here. If you insist, I will ban you permanently and you can take it up on appeal. Toodles."
Then Bob asked Cindy questions about it, and without engaging in further discussion about it, Cindy copied and pasted the earlier posts to him with the parts which answered his questions in bold text.
Then Snoopy commented on her own quote above saying "Apparently she doesn't read well." Deleted Cindy's post to Bob, and wrote this:

It's hardly a secret requiring a pm. Contrary to what Johann is saying above, snoopy publicized the reasons for her discipline so we all know why she banned Cindy.from: Johann on Yesterday at 10:11:20 AMfrom: princessdi on Yesterday at 09:57:55 AM
Ok, so I just responded to the OP. I am with Cindy, I can't leave y'all for a few days......now wha' happen? LOL!!! Somebody please PM me the Reader's Digest version.I think Calvin answers you better than i can.from: calvin on June 22, 2008, 10:51:50 PM
It should always be a judgment call by the Owner/Administrator and those moderators he has delegated the authority too when it comes to whether discipline/warnings should be public or private, it depends on the severity of the offense and other factors. Also as a general rule I don't publicize the reasons for the discipline, only creates more drama, never going to please everyone. I learned this from my days working as a HR Manager. Also, don't expect administrators to be completely objective, they never can be, all of our decisions are colored by personal biases and believes.

I believe you are confused or have been mislead. This isn't about sentencing. The judge will decide if he wants to accept the plea bargain or move for trial. Should he decide to accept the plea bargain, then he may or may not proceed to sentencing. So much has been made of the guilty plea which is ludicrous considering that 80% of all cases end in a plea bargain with one condition being, that the accused plead guilty. Many prosecutors will not even offer a plea bargain unless the accused pleads guilty. It is a technicality of the law, not an admission of guilt. There are innocent people all over this country who have pled guilty to crimes they didn't commit because of their circumstances. IMO TS had many reasons to go along with that plea. He and his wife sold their Kentucky home to pay for a defense. They are tapped out financially and therefore cannot pay for 2 long drawn out trials. Some may say they could have gotten a loan but how do you do that when you are both only drawing social security? 2 other big factors are his age and his health situation, not to mention having to stay somewhere or with someone in Va all of these months.
All the talk about civil suits (which are always about money) are pipe dreams with the Sheltons financial situation. As the old saying goes "you can't get blood out of a turnip". Translated that means you can't get money where there is none. Not too many attorney's are going to take a case where you go after someone that has already been wiped out financially.
Let us use some common sense here. The prosecutor would never have offered a plea with no jail time if she had confidence in her cases. Here you have 2 cases that are at least, 15 years old. You have no witnesses. In Alex's case the biggest factor was his mother coming to testify against him. A mother will not testify against a child unless she knows he isn't telling the truth. Now before you all try to refute this...I challenge you to call Alex's mother personally, and ask her if this isn't the truth. Especially you Samuel Thomas. If you aren't Alex and are Alex's best friend then you should know her fairly well. I challenge you to call her yourself instead of listening to the lies of Alex. You will find out that every word I am saying is true and if Alex has lied to you about this, how many other things has he lied about? His mother will tell you he is a habitual liar and can give you more examples than you will want to hear. I personally know Alex lied when he said that "he knew for a fact" that TS did not sell his Kentucky home. Actually he did know it to be completely true but lied again.
The plea bargain speaks for itself as Prosecutors don't offer pleas with no jail time in these types of cases unless they are fairly certain they can't win. Again, the technicality of a guilty plea means nothing.
As far as GM's comments about the judge looking into TS's background, that is another technicality that means they check to see if he has any prior criminal record. In actuality that should take about 2 minutes on the computer. In the court system it takes 2 months.

Grat asked:During this period of time TS's life will be investigated. The questions asked are: Is there evidence in this life that should serve to reduce his sentence, or to not give him jail time at all? Is there evidence in his life that should serve to support a jail sentence and of what length? My question for someone is why does it take two months before the sentence is given out?
During this time the prosecution and the defense will each be preparing to argue their view of the sentence that should be given TS. Judges often have leaway and can give from a range of sentences. When the judge has the option of chosing from a range of sentences, the individual has a civil right to demand that the sentence not be arbitrary, but considered based upon evidence. Each side will attempt to present evidence as to why the sentence should be whatever they want to argue. A judge who fails to take this into consideration will often be overruled and directed by an Appealate court to review and resentence the individual.
Now, what are some of the issus that might be introduced: Service as an upstanding community figure who had contributed much to the community might be one issue. On the other hand, other instances of criminal activity also might be considered--of course the defense would argue that such should not be considered.

I went to go check it out, but right on cue and as usual she bans me too! My deleted post is quoted above, and the only reason given for that post, actually the entire thread being deleted, and my ban?
An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Violation of Forum Rule Number 1.
That rule says:
"1. Members will respect the administrative team and their actions. If a member takes issue with a moderator action they should report it privately to administration and can expect a response within 24 hours, although the response may be that the issue is being investigated and a more detailed response will be forthcoming. In no case will the complaint be posted publically."
For the record my post is above. http://www.3atalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=2 ... 2334#p2331 and I wasn't disrespecting anyone, I wasn't trying to take issue with an administrator action, nor was I complaining.(when has that ever helped, even when done privately as they ask? and when do we ever receive a reply within 24 hrs, or even any reply?) I was simply relating what had happened and what was, and is, publicly posted in answer to the question by Princessdi, which I replied to. I thought it quite clear what the deal was and thought that those quotes from administrator Snoopy explained quite well and spoke for themselves (and still do) to answer the question of what had happened, and adventtalk's position about why Cindy was permanently banned.
oh well, we are used to this kind of thing, right?
I did notice a response to Sam hasn't been edited yet, although it refers to the edited part of what Sam said, which you just posted, so I am quoting it here. (just in case)

I wish to thank you. I know people being talked about here by both sides and it is sometimes hard to tell who is telling the truth because the stories don't sound like the people I know about and everybody is mad at everybody. This all does make sense to me, and it is good to hear both sides. I think we always have to hear both sides. I don't know alex walker, and I don't know Tommy Shelton or whether he is guilty or whether he is being lied about, but samuel has been very nice to me, that was why I asked him why the victims would accept the plea bargain because he said he understood their reasons and I do not understand that. I think he should already know about Alex's mom though if he is Alex's friend and he should know if Alex lies. Maybe he will answer here, or maybe someone else should ask Alex' mom instead of him,or in addition to him to verify things for everyone. because that would be better. I would but I don't know how to get hold of her or what her name is. If somebody tells me, I will do it.

I cannot help but wonder why these posts are taken off of AdventTalk? There was nothing inappropriate in Sam's post, nor in the other poster's.
To say these are removed because in inappropriate content is really telling a lie if the content is okay.
If this continues, then I believe more and more will realize there is some major lying going on, even with the mods/administrators. This brings all of AdventTalk into question.

True. Their fruits just stink. I dare to say most can see it, imho they can't because they are too busy defending, condoning and egging each other on in their ends justify the means way, and put people before prinicples. That's how it works with gangs too, and is why our parents warned us about hanging out with the wrong crowd...Lilly wrote:I cannot help but wonder why these posts are taken off of AdventTalk? Anyway here's another post "Edited to remove inappropriate content" by Artiste.
Here's the two parts she deleted:
"There is Sister, in Europe, ( who claims that her husbands employment and dismissal from 3ABN - which was over in less than 2 years- gives her the ability to be a witness and tell about events she never even saw as she was long gone before any problems occurred in Danny and Linda's marriage)"
Here's how the post appears now:"There is SSOM, living on one coast, states away from Linda, and saying she is a witness, but not saying to what exactly, or when."
I found Global Moderator Lynda "Sonshineonme" Walckers, reply to the post above quite interesting in light of her signature, which appears with her every post. Wouldn't you think it would be a reminder and cause her to at least pause before flying off the handle and getting so personal?Nosir Myzing

Also lots of break-ins into her house. Nothing of value stolen, but pictures and documents. Now police is investigating. Other pictures and documents will be left behind. Nothing is normal. Seems like he manages to get some locksmith make a new key to her house each time she changes her locks.
Then there are the cars following her. And people following her to church and other places.
It sounds like someone is trying to make her or others around her think that she is mentally unbalanced.
Maybe, or maybe she needs to call an exorcist?
I am having a very difficult time with this breaking into her car, into her house, Danny obtaining keys to her house over and over when she changes the locks story, and the claim that this has been going on for 6 years and no one can stop it, because Danny has other people do it for him. I don't believe this for one minute. Keys need locksmiths, breakins and tresspassing are crimes that the police can investigate and solve, no matter who is doing it. There is no investigation. Just stupid excuses about how nothing can be done. No proof this is even occuring except posters here saying it is.
*********************************
***********************************
There is Johann, living in Europe also,, and reporting what Linda is telling him about this.
*********************************
Then there is Joy living on the opposite coast and states away from Linda also claiming "I certify that the "sister story" is an accurate depiction of the events best described as "The Destruction of Innocense". Knowing he can certify nothing except that is what he believes as he also witnessed nothing,, and didn't even come into all this till well over 2 years after Linda and Danny were divorced.
This is a problem in much of this saga. We need real witnesses and testimony and evidence. This he said she said, and here say stuff is for the birds. The unclean birds.

You dont deserve proof!!!! If this is how you assimilate the truth when it's put before you no wonder you are so easily duped by ds and others who use you to do their bidding and spew vile all over the place. Dare I say you are what is called an idiot. How dare you just decide everyone who tells you truth you don't want to believe is making it up? Are you that foolish to think people would just make up their witnessed testimony? Maybe because that's all you can do is believe what you are TOLD and have NOTHING else. You are like ds you acuse people of what you do. Make stuff up to deceive yourself into oblivion. I take great offense to being called a liar. You are at least that and more so shew away. We dont need any more of your bs here. You have no real need to know the truth. You are here to cause problems, you live to do that. I feel sorry for you. Get a life, huh?

We all know that God has allowed all to play out, to it's fullest, what Satan and his minions have done and are doing to God's children and ultimately to God Himself. All will know without a doubt the full extent of what sin does and how loving and just our God is. I believe that this is what is going on with those on that forum too. They have been allowed to show what their true character's are and just how far they will go. They will not be able to claim that other's did it to them because they really have and are doing it to themselves.Lilly wrote:I cannot help but wonder why these posts are taken off of AdventTalk? My ban at AT was due to expire so I went there this morning and found another ban had been put in place. As I haven't posted there due to the last ban, I can only suppose that ban was added due to my posts here.
"Posting semi private info"? The only thing I did either there or here was to quote the posts that they themselves had written and posted , folks...An Error Has Occurred!
Sorry Guest, you are banned from using this forum!
Posting semi-private info after warning.
These are the people who want to publish and make all known when it concerns 3ABN, no matter who it involves in their quest to accuse and condemn. They post every single piece of dirt or gossip or bit of totally private, and/or highly personal information that they can find or dig up on anyone related to 3abn and then discuss it publicly ad nauseum. They loudly denounce "protection orders" and privacy issues when it comes from 3abn, refusing to listen or respect the rights of others. Over and over when these rights and the reasons for them are brought up, they refuse to understand. Instead they twist it, and tell everyone 3ABN, DS or whoever is guilty because they are hiding things. Then these same people want to hide their shenanigans and hypocrisy behind a wall, and punish and ban anyone for discussing what they are saying and doing, or for even quoting their discussions, even going so far as to delete entire posts and threads to hide that and cover it up? They are just sooo... ridiculous, and blind.
and to think they still have that banner on their forum asking for money saying that freedom of speech is under attack. It is. By them...

Re: Adventtalk Deletions
Latest deletion, that I know of..
After posters on AT, starting with Johann, I believe, claimed that the prosecution would use Alex Walker's family to help him, {Those whom the defense--not the prosecution-- were calling as witnesses) was rebutted... one of the alleged victims, Alex, challenged posters on adventtalk to contact his family, to see who was telling the truth, and so that was done...
My very very condensed and mild version of what Alex's family had to say was posted last night in reply to Adam.(Alex's roommate and lover-- Sorry, but that's what his family all say...)
This morning, It was confirmed to me once again that adventtalk doesn't want the truth, or to get to that, or answers to their own questions or demands even posted there. Those claims are apparently all show.

Brad Walker (Alex’s brother) also stated, "Alex is lying again, I have never talked with any lawyer nor had anything documented from my conversation with Alex"
One Family member stated that Alex made the comment that Bob Pickle and Duane Clem could not be trusted and they were out for money.
Again another report from a family member stated that Alex told them that he was going to sue the detective for revealing his name as one of the victims.
Yet Alex bragged to another family member that he was going to sue the “Church of God” for Fifty Million Dollars.
I have a whole list of lies that Alex has told. One member of the family summed it up by stating "that the majority of the family rarely believe what Alex says about anything or anybody."
No, Alex's mom was not going to testify on his behalf.

Not so fast, Adam.. You aren't the only one. Others do too, actually far better than yourself, and she is not at all happy about Alex coming on line and telling all she was going to be testifying for him, that is putting it mildly.from: Adam on July 21, 2010, 08:10:11 PM
Sam, Sam, Sam. In fact yes, I do know Alex's mother.
Brad Walker (Alex’s brother) stated and I quote, “I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT BELIEVE ALEX’s STATEMENT”from: Adam on July 21, 2010, 08:10:11 PM
Also, this talk about the prosecutor does not have enough evidence that is complete horse feathers. I know for a fact that the prosecutor was going to have a hay day with Alex's brother (Brad).

Who called Alex and told him that he was sorry, and that he felt guilty about what happened. Not True? Yes, it is because that whole conversation was documented by a local attorney. Brad also stated to Alex that he has never nor would he ever leave his son alone with Tommy. Is that not true either? Yes, it is because that was also documented.

Re: Adventtalk Deletions
II am not sure what post this is related to, but I am banned. Whatever post it is, it is most likely deleted. Maybe someone else here can supply it?
It occurs to me that if the administrators of adventtalk could be trusted to act impartially and without bias, we could stop this entire mess, by having all those that they publicly accuse register there, and then no matter how righteous or just the accusations or criticisms were they would just delete them, and ban the accuser, and sweep all under the carpet...
I know, that would never happen.... lol
An Error Has Occurred!

More public accusations against members.
