If she really thinks that drugs are sorceries and witchcraft, then I guess all Adventist doctors and hospitals are practicing witchcraft and sorcery.
And to top it off, her ballyhooed "TEN" steps, are taken straight out E G White's counsels on health - who addressed principles of healthy living, _not_ on fighting deadly cancers.This would be a good time for an "about face" in the Health Ministries Department of the General Conference. Why not begin promoting God's Natural Health Plan, the Health Plan on which the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination was founded, and stop promoting DRUGS (pharmacy) which the Bible clearly defines as SORCERIES AND WITCHCRAFT (the Greek word pharmakeia).
On April 15, 2002, the Director of Health Ministries for the Seventh-day Adventist Church asked Dr. Lorraine Day to supply further details about her cancer diagnosis and treatment. On May 28, Day sent a letter refusing to do so. Here is the letter and response.

Dear Dr. Day:
As you know, questions have been raised within our ministry about the authenticity of your reported experience with cancer. I understand that in response to a previous question, you distributed several pages of medical reports that showed, beyond doubt, that you had breast cancer. However, a physician who has reviewed these documents has informed me that they appear to be incomplete.
If I understand correctly, you had three operations:
1. The original biopsy
2. A wider excision about a week later
3. An operation to relieve pain related to a large mass more than a year later.
You have distributed the first page of Dr. A. Brent Eastman's clinical note dated 11/4/93 but stamped 11/2/93. However, the remaining page or pages of this report were not included. I would appreciate it if you would send me a copy.
You have distributed the first page of the surgical pathology report dated 11/4/93, which appears to be a preliminary report on frozen sections. It is not clear whether there is another page. If there is, I would appreciate receiving a copy. In addition, I understand that final pathology reports are usually issued a week later when the specimen is examined under optimum conditions. Please send me a copy of the final report.
I would also like to receive copies of records pertaining to the grapefruit-sized mass you developed -- including any physical examination, the surgical report, and the final pathology report.
Perhaps then we can lay this matter to rest. Your cooperation will be appreciated.

Dear Director Williams:
I am responding to your letter of April 15, 2002, a copy of which is enclosed. Before I continue, it's important to focus on the real issue at hand, so we both know exactly what we're writing about.
The real issue at hand is whether or not I had cancer. A copy of my Pathology Report from my final surgical biopsy from Loma Linda University Medical Center is enclosed. This proves, "beyond doubt" that I had cancer, a fact that you admit in lines three and four of your letter. The location of the initial cancerous mass is identified as "left chest wall", exactly where my huge cancerous tumor recurred.
Obviously, you have already seen this document on my web site at http://www.drday.com, as well as copies of the original pathology slides from Loma Linda University Medical Center which the pathologists used to make my diagnosis of cancer.
Since you admit that my medical reports show "beyond doubt" that I had cancer, the next thing that should have been forthcoming from you in your letter was an apology, and a confirmation to me of a letter of retraction from your agent, Loma Linda University and their employee, pharmacologist Ray Cress to be sent to the same people who received the first libelous letter written by Ray Cress.
This letter apparently was widely circulated in the SDA denomination through your conference presidents and ministers. The copy I finally obtained was given to me by a friend who picked it up from a table full of literature in a Seventh-Day Adventist church. A whole stack of these letters defaming me and essentially calling me a liar were on the table for every church member to take.
But instead of promising me a letter of apology from you and your denominational administrators and a letter of retraction from pharmacologist Ray Cress, instead you proceed in your letter to go on a "fishing expedition," asking me for this document and that document, and all of my medical records, including my physical examinations. How terribly inappropriate! Would you give me copies of your physical examinations and all of your medical records? I think not!
With this one document, my final surgical biopsy report from Loma Linda University Medical Center, I have proved "beyond doubt" that I had cancer. You don't need anything else. You have no right to ask for anything else. There is no "incompleteness" of my records! Please remember that you, corporately, and your agents, Loma Linda University and pharmacologist Ray Cress are the ones who have defamed and libeled me, not the other way around.
If I choose to put additional documents on my web site, that is my prerogative. It doesn't automatically give you the right to ask for anything.
Your only reason for embarking on a "fishing expedition" for more documents would be to try to find some other way to destroy my credibility.
Why can't you just accept and believe that God has the ability to "heal ALL our diseases" as He has promised in Psalm 103:3. He'll do it for everyone, if they will just follow His plan.
You would have no quarrel with me if I had submitted to conventional therapy of the type that both you and Loma Linda University advocate. If I had done that, you, and Loma Linda would leave me alone.
But since I am living proof that God's Natural Health Plan can cure the most devastating, end-stage cancer, there are those who wish to destroy my reputation and credibility. They want to eliminate any exhibition that God really can do what He has already promised to do ---- and that is to HEAL ALL OUR DISEASES!
Those of you in the Seventh-Day Adventist administrative hierarchy, both at the General Conference headquarters in Maryland as well as at Loma Linda University in California, are repeating the behavior of the Pharisees when Jesus was on earth. Not only did they plot to kill Jesus, but they wanted to kill Lazarus too, because He exhibited what Christ could do.
"But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death; because that by reason of him (Lazarus) many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus." John 12:10
The same thing is happening today. You are attacking my reputation and credibility because my healing from advanced cancer by God's Natural Health plan proves that Jesus is truly "the same yesterday, today and forever." This should make you Rejoice! rather than harass.
Near the end of your letter, you write "Perhaps then we can lay this matter to rest." If you truly want this matter "laid to rest", please follow the instructions in my attorney's letter.
In the P.S. to your letter you ask, "Approximately how many people have purchased your tapes?" That, of course, is NONE of your business. What would your response be if I asked you to tell me how much money you paid for your house, or for your car, or how much money you have in your bank account?
If I gave you an answer, whether you considered the figure to be a large one or a small one, you would find some way to use it against me. You have NO other reason for asking.
This is not the first time that the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination has come against me. When one speaks truth, the Bible assures us that there always will be those who oppose it. When I spoke truth about the government's cover-up of the AIDS epidemic, I was reviled by those who considered themselves "experts," most of whom were in the secular world. However, on that issue, the Seventh-Day Adventist denomination was the ONLY religious organization in the entire country that came against me.
If I remember correctly, it was in 1992, that you, personally, and others from the General Conference of SDAs as well as Loma Linda University, who set up a "Kangaroo Court" session against me because I was speaking truth about the AIDS epidemic. This "tribunal" also resulted in your committee writing a libelous "hit" letter against me that was sent out apparently to all the Seventh-Day Adventist churches in the country, again implying that I was a liar and suggesting that churches not invite me as a speaker. That letter, of course, was un-signed by the individual committee members, as everyone on the "committee" was too cowardly to sign his or her name personally, including you.

You may declare that you are doing a splendid job of health education by pointing to the study that shows that Adventists live longer than non-Adventists because of their healthier lifestyle. It is true that when a group doesn't smoke, doesn't drink, and doesn't eat pork and other unclean meats, their health is better. But just look at the SDA churches that you attend and you will see numerous cases of cancer, heart disease, obesity, crippling arthritis, Parkinson's and every other disease. Yet God has promised to keep us "free from EVERY disease" if we follow His "laws (including His health laws) His commandments and His decrees." (Deut 7:11-15) God declares that He "heals ALL our diseases" just as He "forgives ALL our sins." (Psalm 103:3)
So then why are so many Adventists sick? Something is terribly wrong! The forgiveness of sin and the healing of disease are linked together in Psalm 103:3, so it is clear that both promises are for this earth, not just for heaven or the New Earth.
If so many church members are sick, maybe you and your ministry and Loma Linda University should be teaching them how to be really well, rather than encouraging them to take drug medications to cover up their symptoms! After all, as you see in the texts quoted above, God GUARANTEES His plan! It will work, if one is determined to follow it with 100% commitment.

When you promote drugs as the answer to illness, you are leading your members away from God's truth. You are truly what Jesus called "Blind guides." It's time for a return to God's way of regaining and maintaining health.
